Recurring costs include antibody, staff and overhead costs, and LL kits at full list price. For commercial applications at large scale LL reagent costs may be negotiated to provide significant cost benefits in association with an appropriate supply and license agreement.

Staff costs do not make any allowance for the fact that the LL procedure may be carried out by a non-graduate technician, whilst a graduate scientist is needed to undertake traditional conjugation methods, with a commensurately higher salary.
