Dr Nick Gee

Nick is a biochemist with over 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry with Merck & Co., Amersham International, Warner-Lambert and Upstate Biotechnology. He joined Warner-Lambert's research facility in Cambridge in 1991 and was Head of Protein Biochemistry and Assay Development from 1994-1999. Nick was VP of Scientific Operations at Upstate’s new European base in Dundee from 1999-2002 after which he returned to Cambridge to set up Innova Biosciences.

Tim Bernard

Tim has 26 years experience of executive level leadership, strategic development and international sales within the life science sector. Formerly Managing Director of the antibody company AbD Serotec, Tim was a key contributor in the set up, growth and eventual sale of the business, strategically growing the operation from a £300K turnover to its sale for £20m to the Morphosys group in 2006. Since leaving AbD Serotec, Tim has worked with a series of SME Biotech companies (such as Oxford Expression Technologies, Everest Biotech and DB Biotech) to realise their full potential. Tim is also the founder of Pivotal Scientific – a Life Science consultancy business.

Andrew Lane

Andrew is an immunologist with 23 years of post-doctoral experience in the health and biotech sectors, with both the NHS in Southampton and Serotec in Oxford.  He has broad experience in the research and diagnostic antibody sector, with extensive knowledge of manufacturing, product development and license negotiation.  Since 2008 Andrew was Managing Director of MorphoSys UK Ltd, with responsibility for the primary operational and manufacturing site of AbD Serotec in Oxford, and joined Innova Biosciences in July 2012 as Licensing Manager.
